Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the organisation's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware and systems.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide technical support and resolve IT-related issues for users.
• Manage network security, data protection and system access.
• Ensure regular backups, system updates and maintenance are completed.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of IT policies, procedures and standards.
• Coordinate with external IT service providers and vendors when required.
• Assist with IT projects, system upgrades and the implementation of new technologies.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network-related issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, assets and technical procedures.
• Ensure IT operations support business continuity and efficient organisational operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT operations, infrastructure or systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of computer networks, servers, hardware and operating systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting and providing technical support.
• Knowledge of IT security principles and data protection practices.
• Good understanding of backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Relevant professional IT certifications will be an added advantage.
