  • Act as a strategic and commercial finance partner to the CFO and senior business leadership.
  • Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable commercial insight.
  • Support investment, expansion and strategic decision-making across the business.
  • Lead, coach and develop an established finance team of approximately 20.
  • Build strong working relationships across commercial, sales, operations, aftersales, supply chain, IT and HR.

Working Capital, Cash Flow & Treasury

  • Maintain strong oversight of cash flow, inventory, receivables, collections and overall working capital.
  • Develop and monitor cash-flow forecasts against actual performance.
  • Drive debtor management, credit control and timely collections.
  • Oversee day-to-day cash management and banking activities.
  • Manage key payment obligations including payroll, logistics and strategic supplier commitments.
  • Maintain appropriate fund-flow positions against banking covenants.
  • Support and secure project funding and working-capital facilities from banks and financial institutions.

Financial Accounting, Controls & Compliance

  • Own end-to-end financial accounting and statutory reporting across the cluster.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records within a complex, multi-entity environment.
  • Maintain strong balance-sheet controls across creditors, debtors, clearing and control accounts.
  • Oversee intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
  • Ensure appropriate treatment of foreign-exchange movements.
  • Lead annual external audit processes and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
  • Maintain robust internal controls and delegated-authority frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, taxation, transfer pricing and relevant statutory requirements.
  • Embed a strong culture of governance, accountability and financial discipline.

ERP, Automation & Finance Transformation

  • Play a leadership role in the implementation and optimisation of a new ERP environment.
  • Drive finance-process re-engineering and automation while maintaining effective business-as-usual operations.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual intervention and improve financial reporting.
  • Partner with IT and operational stakeholders to ensure systems provide accurate and commercially useful information.
  • Champion continuous improvement across the finance function.
